As a publishing professional with 18 years+ experience I disagree with the findings stated for this industry. Publishing services is a contracting industry due to India underbidding and killing American employers, and publishers of books wanting to eliminate the secondhand text and used book market. To this end publishers are moving content to the web with small technology teams employing far fewer people than traditionally for print. Books are becoming digital with electronic delivery often including an expiration date. fewer people manage more content and more products. This will result in more published material but not necessarily more jobs.
In all the 10 industries mentioned, there are several overlaps and no hard data to check or author.
